My Favorite Bellingham Restaraunts

Pizza - Coconut Kenny’s- I don’t eat a lot of pizza,  but Kenny’s has the best. This is a fun atmosphere as well.

Italian- Giuseppe’s -Fine dining and a little pricier, but beautiful setting with amazing food. The owner Giuseppe is usually around to greet guests. The Lemon Chicken is my favorite dish here.

Seafood  -As boring as it sounds,  Anthony’s is my favorite. Everything is good, and the views of the harbor are beautiful.

Big Fat Fish Co. in Fairhaven and the Cliff House are also excellent.

Japanese/Sushi- Little Tokyo. I am bias because this is across the street from my office. Wednesday has $1 sushi. And the teriyaki and lunch specials are awesome.

Thai- On Rice (on Samish Way). The On Rice on Samish Way is the original one in Bellingham and has better service in my opinion. Best Pad Thai in Bellingham!

Special Occasion with Friends/Family-  Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse.  A little expensive, but always fun with the food cooked in front of you. Best fried rice ever, and the filet mignon is excellent.

Mexican- Milagro’s (in Fairhaven). I love eating outdoors in the summer, and this has a lower patio and large upper balcony. Since we have a baby, we always grab the private side deck that only fits one table. Best Pico De Gallo I’ve ever had.

About Bellingham, WA

Home to Western Washington University and located in Whatcom County—the northernmost county in Washington, only one hour south of Vancouver, Canada—Bellingham has a culture all its own.

While there is a definite college-town vibe with youthfulness in the air, Bellingham and its surrounding communities are also very diverse. The Fairhaven district features Victorian-era buildings, local arts and crafts shopping, and hip boutiques. In the summer, the Fairhaven Green offers outdoor movies, concerts, and a Farmer’s Market. Embark from the ferry terminal here to the Marine Highway for a coastal cruise to Alaska.

With a pristine Mt. Baker backdrop, Bellingham offers a mass of recreational opportunities for all ages! Options range from hiking, camping, and mountain biking to snow sports, golf, and the annual Ski to Sea race.

Bellingham hugs Bellingham Bay. The nearby San Juan Islands bring fun seasonal activities such as whale watching, fishing, sea kayaking, and island cruises. Some of the best sailing in the world is available here. Visit scenic Larabee State Park, a 2,683-acre camping and recreational park on the saltwater shores of Samish Bay. Cruise Chuckanut Drive to view all of what nature has to offer on this northern coastal section of the United States. Bellingham is sure to astound you with its beauty and charm! See Bellingham, WA Demographics here.
